buy ALL the genius series books! couldn’t manage without them. much easier and faster and less embarrassing than asking a real person. written with lots of humor which makes it FUN to read–and i hate reading manuals!

I bought my first laptop ever, a MacBook. I have had Apple products since the mid 80′s and I am pretty comfortable with them but I like to have a book to read, not just the “help” pulldown menu. My wife and I were traveling and a bookstore we stopped at had this Portable Genius series and I really liked the simple language, the colored photos and the step by step instruction helps. I had just purchased an iPhone so I got the iPhone book. Easy to use, easy to read. I have an iMac and MacBook and OS X Leopard “Genius” books as well. I would only buy MacBook or Mac not both as there isn’t enough difference to buy both. I have recommended them to two friends who have just purchased their first Apple products and they got the books and have already thanked me. Do I get royalties for this glowing report? Just kidding.
