Travelers passing through security checkpoints at airports have to remove laptops from their carry bags for screening. Not everyone is happy with this arrangement because it is troublesome and there is also the risk of the laptop being scratched or even dented.
There is now a new type of carrybag that is check-point-friendly, the laptop can stay in the bag and yet be detected by the scanner. The first such products introduced in the United States have been well-received.
Targus’ checkpoint-friendly laptop case has a split design which separates the laptop from its accessories, allowing for clear X-ray scanning.
It also features the patented SafePORT Air Cushion System for maximum laptop protection.
Ergonomic features include nylon handles wrapped with leather for comfort and a padded shoulder strap with non-slip coating on the pad to keep the strap in place. The bag is made of durable ballistic 1680-denier nylon and weighs 1.7kg.
