It might look like your ordinary basic black, but Lenovo’s new ThinkPad X300 is downright green. Its Energy Star 4.0 qualification and EPEAT Gold rating indicate the X300 is environmentally friendly, and you’ll appreciate the results in the form of extra-long battery life. You’ll also enjoy the X300’s bright, backlit, mercury free display, which at 13.3 inches offers a perfect middle ground between ultra-compact and larger models.
Inside the ThinkPad X300, innovations abound. There’s the standard Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.0+EDR built in and ready to go, but there’s also UWB (Ultra Wideband), a solid-state drive, and GPS with Verizon’s WWAN service as an option. Outside there are innovations, too: The X300 incorporates Lenovo’s ThinkPad roll cage technology for durability, and we love the backlit buttons. At just 0.73 inch thick and weighing in at less than 3 pounds, the X300 proves that less can truly mean more.
